Timothy Brown is a veteran, firefighter, and community leader whose life’s work reflects an unwavering commitment to service and support for local heroes.

Military Service
Timothy proudly served in the United States Army from 2002 to 2005 as a member of the esteemed 101st Airborne Infantry Division. During his military tenure, he demonstrated exceptional bravery and leadership, earning recognition for his distinguished service.

Professional Experience
After completing his military service, Timothy continued his dedication to public safety and service as a firefighter. He has served in vital roles with the Refinery Fire Department and the Bethalto Fire Department, where he continued to protect and serve his community with the same courage and integrity that defined his military career.

Community Leadership
As founder of Riverbend Patriots, Timothy has led advocacy and community engagement initiatives aimed at supporting veterans and promoting patriotic values. Under his leadership, the organization has become a cornerstone of support and empowerment for veterans and their families, fostering a sense of community and gratitude.

Dustin Dixon

Dustin Dixon – Co-Founder's Intro

Dustin Dixon is a dedicated Marine Corps veteran whose service, leadership, and perseverance reflect an enduring commitment to his country and community.

Military Service
Dustin served in the United States Marine Corps from 2003 to 2007, deployments to Iraq in the beginning of the war and throughout his tenure, he exhibited unwavering dedication, discipline, and loyalty. His courage and tactical expertise contributed to critical operations, earning him respect from peers and superiors alike. Due to service-connected injuries, Dustin was medically retired, but his commitment to service remains steadfast.

Achievements
Dustin’s military career is marked by exceptional leadership and teamwork. He honed his skills in combat readiness and tactical operations, demonstrating resilience and fortitude in challenging environments. Honorably discharged after four years of service, he continues to embody the core values of the Marine Corps: honor, courage, and commitment.

Commitment
Dustin’s journey reflects a profound sense of duty and dedication to protecting his country and supporting his fellow veterans. His experiences have shaped a deep commitment to advocacy, ensuring that the sacrifices of service members are honored and their needs addressed.

Brad Yount

Brad Yount – Co-Founder’s Intro

 

Brad Yount -Veteran, Community Leader, and Advocate for Service


Military Service
Brad Yount honorably served in the United States Marine Corps, dedicating five years to active duty and three years to reserve. Brad later received a Congressional nomination to attend OCS with the Army National Guard.

During his military service, Brad deployed to Afghanistan in support of NATO missions as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, contributing to the Global War on Terrorism. His service is marked by honor, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to his country.


Professional and Community Engagement
After completing his military service, Brad remained deeply connected to the veteran community. He has spent over a decade fostering support and empowerment for fellow veterans through various leadership roles. Brad served as interim Commander of VFW Post 1308 in Alton, where his leadership brought inspiration and direction to the veteran community. As an Accredited Veterans Service Officer with the Madison County Veterans Assistance Commission, Brad worked tirelessly to ensure veterans received the resources and support they deserve.
